Thanks for checking out our website! Here at Awakening, we're not just a church - we're a movement. We are a community of believers who are committed to making a difference. Our mission is to be ambassadors of reconciliation in the Southaven/Memphis area and beyond (1 Cor. 5:14-21). You will find Awakening Church to be a welcoming space where you can explore and deepen your relationship with God.
Our services are not about routine or performance but every time we meet, we expect God’s Presence to show up. We're all about encountering Jesus and experiencing relationship with Him in a real and tangible way. You were created for a life of abundance and purpose in the fullness of Christ. OUR MISSION
We exist to awaken the lost to Christ, equip every believer to walk like Jesus did, and send them to make disciples of all nations.
OUR CORE VALUES
1. We are a Word Church - God‘s Word is the answer to every fork in the road. We do not change for situations or culture (2 Tim. 3:16). 2. We believe for #EveryBeliever - Every believer can do what Jesus did because all believers have been mantled with the same Holy Spirit (Romans 8:11, John 14:12). 3. We celebrate victories - We celebrate every testimony because it is meant to become a movement.
